Welcome to our second edition of our newsletter.
The summer heat is in full swing, children are out of school, and vacation time is coming up-- that means more time spent outdoors and in nature. Spending time in nature has positive effects on mental health, cognitive function, brain
activity, physical activity, and sleep (PMID: 33946197).
However, it is also important because taking the time to be outdoors is an act of prioritizing yourself-- removing yourself from the hustle and bustle, taking a moment to breathe and ground yourself, and to act as a reset.
